This morning, I went to get quarters at Whitney bank. Later, I went to Wal-Mart to exchange my half dollar rolls for bills. Wal-Mart didn't take it, and the bank inside almost didn't either until a Sheriff convinced the teller to exchange my half dollars. That was a pleasant surprise! :) I got some bird seed with a gift card and almost bought an umbrella, but it was too big and too expensive. 

When I got home, I unpacked, ate some lunch, and scooped the cats litter box. I then headed to Rouse's to get some Hamburger Helper and some meat. When I got back, I unpacked and started washing clothes. I called Sasha asking about cleaning work, but she said she would have to get back to me on that. I cooked beef stroganoff for supper and washed the dishes. Amadeo came home later with some pizza. He was proud of me for being up and for the way the house looked so clean. :) I finished folding the clothes, then headed out here to CC's to post my blog and maybe chat with Dyanis or Josh Cerna. 

I will be honest, it is very hard to stay up during the day because I always feel tired, but today I managed to do it.

I didn't do too much today other than laundry and taking care of the kitten. I also took my birds outside and went to Dollar General for some laundry detergent. My jaw joint hurts because of TMJ/the earplug problem. Also, my left elbow hurts from riding my bike for whatever reason. I think it's because of the posture of my arms while on the bike. Today was pretty boring. I will go home later, bring my birds in, shower, and get ready for bed. No picture today because I forgot my webcam.

Today at work, we demolished fir downs, picked up wood and sorted it, removed nails from boards, sanded doors, and swept. I got paid $100 today, 10 of which is a bonus from Mills because he appreciates my hard work :)

I now have $250 saved up, so now I can see Dyanis this summer. It is a lot of money, but it is worth it since she means so much to me. I miss her so much and can't wait to see her again.

Today, Caitlin picked me up and we went to the LRS appointment. It was an intake and it went well. The case worker Debra was very enthusiastic and nice. Now, I wait up to 60 days for eligibility. Next week, we are going to try to apply for Tivoli apartments and get on the wait list. Caitlin also got in touch with Central City Behavioral Health Center to try and get me the next available appointment.

After that, I ate, picked up around the house and took the birds outside. Then, I rode to Walmart to buy some things. I spent about $50, but it was all on necessities such as laundry detergent, shampoo, razors, floss, boxer shorts, and birdseed. I made a list beforehand and shopped around for the best value, so it was no splurge, despite the high cost. Thankfully, these things will last me a while, so I won't have to spend this much money for a while.

When I got home, I unpacked everything.  Dawn and Amadeo were there. I cycled the laundry, then headed out to a wifi spot to post my blog.

Therapy today went well. We talked about how Amadeo and I could come to a middle ground on our different lifestyles to make sure I get enough sleep at night. Amadeo was worried that I am falling off track with that. After therapy, I went shopping at Dollar General and Family Dollar for some things. Later, I took my birds outside and helped Dawn and Sasha clean the apartment. Dawn also washed clothes and cooked. The cat got out, but I eventually got it back in the house. Amadeo came home later and we ate. Afterward, I washed the dishes and headed over to The Bean Gallery to post this blog (there is no wifi at the apartment) and chat with Dyanis like I promised. On the way out, I saw Mills and he was complaining to Dawn about the cat being there. Tomorrow, I have a meeting with LRS. I hope that goes well.

Work was cancelled today because of rain. I swept the entire house today, including under the refrigerator and stove because it was full of dust, debris, and roaches. I got it all clean, though. Then, I started washing clothes, ate, and washed the dishes. Mills came by for a second to get something, and payed my $75 for the 2 and 1/2 days I worked. He actually payed me $80, and I gave him $5 in change. Again, what started out as a stressful, bad day is turning into something better later. I would say I got done what I needed to get done today. Maybe it's the weather, but I have been feeling down lately. Although, when Amadeo and Dawn stopped by, my mood got better and I was finally motivated to do chores like I had planned to since this morning, but previously lacked the energy, motivation, and focus to do it.

I got up early today and did the morning chores. Dawn got us breakfast from McDonald's. I took my birds outside, got some quarters from the store, them started washing clothes. Actually, Amadeo beat me to it and started the first load of white clothes. We bleached it.
Later, Sam and I are hanging out. There's not much to do today, but it's ok because I am relaxing :)

First day on my own again. I have a great template to work from now. Dyanis and Dawn showed me a more efficient way to wash the dishes, sweep the floors, clean the bathroom, and even shop, so I can do these things more consistently from now on.

I got up, took my meds, called Amadeo, made the beds, showered, got dressed, ate, washed the dishes, took care of the birds, and now I am outside posting this blog.

Later, I will wash the white clothes and towels because we are running low. I also might get some cereal from Family Dollar. That is all for now.

I got back on track last night by making a choice to get off the internet, stop arguing with people online, showering, and getting to bed. I could tell that Amadeo was concerned and didn't want me to be up all night on the internet and throwing off my routine. I told him I need to say bye to Dyanis so she won't think I left her hanging and that I would be right back. i did just that, and also talked to Mako about our music transcription project. Most importantly, I decided it wasn't worth staying on the Internet and arguing with people I don't even know that just want to bring me down. As tempting as arguing is, because it gives me mental stimulation, at a certain point it just becomes toxic and does more harm than good. Remembering Anya's advice, I decided it wasn't worth it and stood down with dignity. Amadeo and I both agreed that this was a turning point for me in that I made a critical decision for the better. He said I should post about it to my blog and so I did. After all, it's purpose is to keep track of my progress and what triggers me to fall off track. I told him I needed more money to wash the clothes and he gave me some. Then he told me where I could get quarters. With that done, I got back on track. Amadeo and I also resolved an issue constructively and communicated clearly.

Got most of the laundry done today. Will resume later. Sam came over and played some Dragon Warrior on the Dell laptop while I finished up folding and putting away the clothes. Towels, underwear, and socks are now fully stocked and the bathroom is clear of laundry again. I also did the dishes and changed the water for my birds. Sam and I are about to grab some Subway, go to Washington Square and hopefully meet some jugglers, and then go hang out at his apartment. Lou will be joining us and we will play Magic: The Gathering and maybe some 3 player video games. It will be fun and I feel accomplished with my day so far. It was also good to see Dawn, Justin Mills, and Sonu earlier. Dawn came over a while ago to use the bathroom (poor thing, she was embarrassed lol) and said that the others will be returning shortly from viewing real estate properties. And here I am, posting this blog entry like Amadeo wanted me to. I am starting to like this. It's great. Until next time...
