On Saturday, I went with Maik, Michelle, and Sam to the Global Wildlife Center. We rode a wagon and feed deer, llamas, antelopes, alpacas, and rhea birds. It was fun.

On Sunday, I hung out with Sam. We did the usual: Subway, Magic, Tennis, Quiznos, then home. Lou stopped by for a while. It was good to see him again as I hadn't seen him in a couple months.

On Monday, I went to therapy, and it went great. The rest of the day, I rode the street car, went to City Park, talked to mom on the phone for an hour and a half, hung out with Amadeo at his apartment, went to Dollar General, and then rode the bus home.

Today, I worked from 11:00 to 5:30, with an hour for lunch at Taco Bell. It was good. We cut and laid tile in the bathroom. That took all day. We also scraped out the mortar from the grout. I got more minutes on my phone today, too.

I got home and ate macaroni, croissant, steamed vegetables, and hot dogs. I gave my chicken away because I didn't want it. I am chatting with Dyanis right now. I will shower and go to bed after. I meet with Lavondra tomorrow and then work after.

I operated the saw to cut some pieces of tile.

Amadeo laid out the tile pieces first, before putting them in permanently.

This is how far we got today. Amadeo put the mortar down and a few tiles. They should be dry by tomorrow.

Yesterday, Sam picked me up at 11:00am and we went to Subway. I cleaned his apartment, made $30, and then we played tennis for 2 hours. After that, we worked on Magic decks and Dyanis called me. We went to Quizno's before he took me home at 6:00.

Today, I went to therapy. It went great, and we talked more about family issues. It's amazing how things that happened when you were little still affect you to the present day. It's like mom said "ripples in a pond".

Since the day was young and I had a day pass, I spent the day riding all the street cars in New Orleans. It was quite fun. I rode the Canal, Riverfront, and St. Charles street cars.

Earlier, I did research on street cars and found out the difference between them and the San Francisco "trolleys" or cable cars. The difference is street cars have their own electric motors and run off of overhead power lines for power. Cable cars run off of an underground system of cables run from a factory type building. The speed is fixed at 9mph and they require a man to operate this pliers-like grip that attaches and detaches from the underground cable to go and stop respectively. So although they are both cars made for public transportation, their inner mechanics are totally different. Very interesting! We are lucky here in New Orleans, because I think street cars are so much cooler!

Anyway, I went shopping at Dollar General, then took the bus home. When I got there, I laid down for a while and we had spaghetti for supper. Of course, I had two servings because I love it so much! =P Now, I am chatting with Dyanis. Later, I will take a shower and go to bed. I have work tomorrow. Until next time...

This morning, I went to Dollar General for some things, then I came home and showered. I listened to some music on my laptop, then at 3:30, Caitlin came. We went over my Tivoli place application, as well and some stuff with LRS and trying to choose the best vendor for my services. Unfortunately, she has only two weeks left before she quits, and I will get a new case manager in her place named Patrice. It was great having her as a case manager though. Amadeo stopped by for a second and he offered me to help organize the things in his truck for money. Right now, I am at CC's posting this blog. Later, I will go home and get ready for bed.

Today at 10:00am, I met with Caitlin to get my birth certificate. I was informed that Tivoli place gives priority to people 62 or over, but I can still apply. When I got home, I cleaned the refrigerator and took the birds outside. I went to Dollar General for some things, and came home. I then showered and shaved, then lied down and cuddled with the kitten for a while. At about 4:45pm, Dawn told me to come outside and meet Amadeo to help get my car towed away to Alex's house. I waited in the Rite-Aid parking lot for about an hour while Amadeo got the car over to the trailer. We loaded it up and Amadeo went on his way. Dawn dropped me off and I ate leftover spaghetti for supper. Then, I packed up and headed here to post my blog. When I get home, as usual I will take my birds in and get ready for bed.

I didn't do too much today other than laundry and taking care of the kitten. I also took my birds outside and went to Dollar General for some laundry detergent. My jaw joint hurts because of TMJ/the earplug problem. Also, my left elbow hurts from riding my bike for whatever reason. I think it's because of the posture of my arms while on the bike. Today was pretty boring. I will go home later, bring my birds in, shower, and get ready for bed. No picture today because I forgot my webcam.

Today was ok. It rained earlier, which was depressing, so I slept in. I rode to the Coca-Cola building (NAMI) to meet with Caitlin my social worker. I mostly filled out my Tivoli Place application, talked with her, and she reviewed my application. Everything went well. I then rode to Radio Shack to return my decibel reader because it stopped working. There were no more in the store, so I got my money back and was told to call back on Thursday at 7:00 to see if they received any more in their shipment. 

I came home and Amadeo and Dawn were there with the new kitten. I hung around for a while and ate chicken noodle soup before heading out again to Rouse's and Dollar General for some grocery shopping. Amadeo and Dawn left to go somewhere, too. After that, I came home, unloaded my groceries, then headed out here to CC's to post my blog, since I had not gotten a chance to post it yet. After this, I will go home, shower, and go to bed.

Justin told me he didn't need me today, so I didn't go into work. Tomorrow, I will, however. I took my birds outside and did my morning routine, then I organized Amadeo's receipts. Later, I went to pick up my meds. It took a while, but I finally got them. From there, I went home, went to Dollar General for some things, and went back home. Dawn was there and they let me have some pizza. I started washing clothes and finished Amadeo's receipts. After that, I headed here to CC's to post my blog. Later, I will finish the clothes, cook spaghetti, bring the birds in, and get ready for bed. I hope tomorrow I can make it into work ok.

Today, I am off, since it is Sunday. I went to Irene's going away party last night. It went very well and I got to meet new people. :) Before I got there, thought, I went to McDonald's and my iPod got stolen! I accidentally left it on the table when I went to get my food and when I returned, it was gone! :-O This sucks, but I will live. It just goes to show you that people will steal and you can't take your eyes off of your valuables for even a second when in a public place. 

I am at The Bean Gallery posting this from my laptop with the new webcam Amadeo got me for my birthday :) Until I get another mobile device, I will have to post from my laptop from now on. Instead though, I will post at CC's because it is closer, I don't have to go inside to pay for a drink to use the internet, and they close at 9:00, so I won't be there later than 10:00pm, when I should be home. In a way, this is a blessing in disguise, since I prefer to use a laptop or computer for internet. At the same time, I don't have as much portability as I did with the iPod and the camera that is on it. The tags are easier to use on the laptop, but the location is not. Also, I will have to either bring my laptop to Maik and Sam's places, or ask them to use the computer. Most likely the latter, though, since they don't like me using their computers, at least Maik.

Anyway, I took my parakeets outside today, cleaned their cages, and changed their food and water. They are so happy outside! :) I have not got to do this in over a week. It rained a little today, but very lightly and it was a sun shower. I went to Dollar General for a few things, and talked to Dyanis on the phone before heading out with my laptop to eat and post my blog.

Today at work, we demolished fir downs, picked up wood and sorted it, removed nails from boards, sanded doors, and swept. I got paid $100 today, 10 of which is a bonus from Mills because he appreciates my hard work :)

I now have $250 saved up, so now I can see Dyanis this summer. It is a lot of money, but it is worth it since she means so much to me. I miss her so much and can't wait to see her again.

This morning I got up at 9, even though I was off today. I did my morning routine, then I cleaned my bird cages. I just finished and it was exhausting. I also went to Dollar General for a few things, namely a scrub brush.

Later, I have therapy. I hope it goes well. Yesterday, Ben told me it looked like the Abilify was working, because I am more energetic and focused now, while before, I was like a zombie. It's good to know when other people notice my progress. It's also good to know that my medicine is doing its job, and that it is not a matter of sheer willpower to get things done when you are clinically depressed.

When I got home, I took my birds outside, and called Amadeo. I assembled the wire shelving unit and ate lunch. Later, he wants to pick me up and work on building my desk. I went to the Dollar store to get some things, too.

Mills cancelled work for today. Amadeo and Dawn brought in a stray cat last night. As before, it is a cute little thing to have around, but I have to protect my birds from it. It is a calico cat, mostly white with light brown splotches. It can jump very high, and is even more rambunctious than Diesel or even Stinky Butt (Nemo). 

So anyway, Amadeo went to Mills house to work on something, Dawn left, and I just relaxed at home. To keep myself from falling too far off track, I ate lunch, lied down for a nap, took a shower, got dressed, and went to Dollar General for a few things. I just got back a while ago, and now I am posting this blog. After this, I have a Skype date with Dyanis. :)

Dyanis cooked breakfast and supper for us. I washed the dishes. We went outside to sit with the parakeets. Then we went to get some things at dollar general.

On the way there, Felicia stopped us and we talked for a little while. She asked if we wanted to ride with her to Lafayette. I said I would love to, but I already had plans to go to Sam's parents house for Passover.
That and I wasn't prepared to leave as it was a surprise. She said Doug could bring me there next week when he gets back from Chile next Sunday.
