First blog post of the new year! I haven't posted on this blog in a long while.

To recap, I moved back to Lafayette and live in Evangeline Village Apartments. I got all new furniture for a good price of $1800. It feels good to be back home, although it's like starting over. So far, I have been spending time with my parents, my sister and her kids, Summer and her kids, Josh Cerna, Josh Dixon, and Sam Cherry.

Of course, I have also been chatting with Dianis all this time via Skype, and I even visited her in San Antonio from January 30-February 3, 2014. It was a great trip except for the weather, me getting sick again, and the bus delays and waiting in the terminal for 12 hours overnight. Other than that, it was fine. I was glad to see my lovely girlfriend. :) I can't wait to see he again on April 12.

I got set up with the psychiatrist in Lafayette, but my first appointment isn't until April 9. Until then, I have to go to New Orleans one or two more times to get seen by a doctor and get meds. I have appointments on March 10 and March 18. I also am going to Florida on March 15. It conflicts with my med pick up day, but maybe I can pick it up after the trip.

Currently, I am in New Orleans staying at Sam's apartment. Yesterday, we had Thai for lunch with Maik and Michelle. I lounged around in Sam's apartment listening to music, namely 311 and Muse. I love Muse, especially their new album "The 2nd Law". My favorite song is "Panic Station" because it's so funky! I thank Dianis and Sam Cherry for getting me into this very talented band.

Lou came over after 5pm, then Sam Falchook not too far behind. We played Magic, listened to music, watched YouTube, and hung out while Sam cooked stir fry chicken and vegetables. It wasn't bad for his second time cooking it ever! :P

Anyway, I didn't do much today except eat breakfast, lounge around while listening to music and chatting with Dianis. We are playing Magic at Maik's tonight (another reason why I came) and Sam just texted me that he is on his way home, so I have to go get ready and showered. Until next time...

Yesterday, I played Magic at Maik's. It was ok. I won one game and lost the rest. I go there more to see my friends than to play a game. We had Lebanese food for dinner and they invited me to a birthday celebration on Saturday for Andrew and Sam. I think I will go.

Today, Amadeo was upset with me because I haven't been calling him in the morning, but I called him today. I just have been feeling so depressed. I showered, shaved, and clean my teeth. Later, after drying off, I put in earplugs, got dressed, then headed outside. I took the street car to my therapy session with Courtney Olds, because my bike tire went flat AGAIN. This was my last session with her, since I cannot afford to pay for

any more sessions. It went very well, and she said she will give Anya things to work on with me. Courtney is so nice! :) I see Anya on Monday at 12:00 at last! Therapy has been great with Courtney, but it will be nice to have Anya back again. She is so understanding and helpful, and in her own words, "directive". haha. I will feel safe and sound with Anya there for me again. I can't wait until Monday.

Anyway, I used my day pass once more to bus it over to CC's to post this blog. Sam invited me to Kyle's to play Magic, but I declined. I am burnt out on MTG, plus my bike tire is flat. Later on, I will bus it back home and go to bed. If it rains, I am prepared with my umbrella, the cover from the bus stop, and the bus itself. I will do my best to stay dry! :P

I am on a lower dose of Abilify now (2.5 mg), so I don't feel jittery, but I feel slower and more depressed. I think I am at a happy medium now, however. I can manage with this, at least for now.

I didn't get to post a blog yesterday because I was out all day with Sam and didn't get a chance to access the internet. We spent 5 hours at Washington Square and part of the French Quarter juggling and hanging out with his friend George. Sam really enjoyed that and it was first weekend off in a long time. He was glad to do "nothing"  on a Saturday for once. Later, we got Subway, went to his apartment, played Magic, and then we went to bed.

Today, I slept in, we ate, and we hung out before he took me home. When I got home, I did the daily chores such as the dishes and scooped the cat litter box, then I took my bird cages outside to clean them. Later, it started to thunder, so I took them in. I laid down a couple times and Amadeo got mad at me, as usual. I am so bored and depressed all the time. There's nothing to do and no reason for me to be up as far as I see it, yet I am forced to be up by Amadeo. I don't understand why he can't just leave me alone and leave me be.

Anyway, I rode here to post this blog. Not much going on, and later I will go home and go to bed. I won't be showering tonight because all the towels and clothes are dirty and we have no quarters to put in the washing machine.

Amadeo got pissed at me for sleeping during the day yesterday. I was honestly very tired. I had cleaned the refrigerator and took a shower, which took energy out of me. He probably thinks this is the "first straw" to "junkie behavior", but little does he know this does not affect my schedule. I will still be home for 10:00 and in bed for 11:00. I do not stay out late anymore. In fact, I go to a different cafe to make sure I get home on time. Here we go again with him being mad at me. 

At the same time, I do need something to do during the day, though. Maybe I should go back to work with Mills. If I do, though, I can't post blogs on Wednesdays because I can't carry my cards and my laptop at the same time. There simply is not enough room and it is too much to carry. And if I don't go to Wednesday night Magic, well there goes my social life. I don't know what to do. My life is so fucking hard and complicated, even with the littlest things. I really fucking hate having Asperger's Syndrome. There are days that I would rather having just about anything else disabling me, but alas, I can't change it. I guess I will just have to suffer for the rest of my miserable life. :/

Today from noon to 3:00, I went to a NAMI picnic in City Park. The food was good and I got to meet some new people. Now I am posting this blog at CC's. Later, I will go to Maik's to play Magic. 

I hate how I feel on this medicine. I am restless, anxious, fidgety, and can't calm down for a second. It's like I have Parkinson's Disease. I wish I could just eliminate the side effect or better yet stop taking it altogether and take something else for my depression.

Today, I got up and took out my birds. Unfortunately, I noticed one of my females has a lump in her bottom and I'm worried that she might be egg bound. This is a serious condition that could kill her and I don't know what to do. I am hoping Amadeo could take me to Bird's Unlimited today to see if Ms. Joann can do anything about it, and maybe even buy the two chicks I have while I'm at it. Later tonight, Sam is going to pick me up and we will play Magic at his apartment with Andrew. He will get food and I will spend the night, so Sam won't have to drive me back so late. I hope everything goes well.

Last night, I crashed at about 8:30. I was so exhausted. I slept more or less nonstop until 11:00am today, with a few short wake-ups in between. I called in sick to work today because I feel sick, tired, and weak. Then, I rested until about 12:30pm. I could not handle doing hard work like demolishing the bathroom wall today, which is what I'm sure I would be doing. Anyway, Amadeo came back and helped me get up and moving, as well as handle some business with getting my bike back. I still feel sick, tired, weak, and sore from yesterday, but I managed to get here to post this blog because I have to and it was within my means to get here. I took my birds outside today. I will go later to Maik's to play Magic and hang out. Then, I will go home and go to bed. I hope I feel better soon.

Today, I took the bus to work because my bike was in the shop. I did alot of different things, but mostly wood putting the windows and various cleanup duties. Today, I worked from 11:00-1:00 and picked up trash most of the time. Afterward, I was told to go home. Dawn needed me to help Tina move out because she broke up with her boyfriend. Dawn was really stressed, but Amadeo came with Alex's truck and we got a good bit moved to Dawn's house. By the  end of it, JD was home and very irate, so Tina took me home. 

Right now, I am at Maik's house playing mtg. I had a hamburger for supper that they left for me. I will chat with Dyanis later.

I slept over at Sam's last night. This morning, we showered, ate, and worked on magic decks, then we are Chinese buffet for lunch and he took me home.

The rest of the day, I unpacked, did the laundry, trash, dishes, and took care of the pets. I just now was able to get to a wifi spot to post this blog. 

This week has gone by nonstop and I am stressed out. I work again tomorrow even though my day off was not really a day off, but at least I will get Tuesday and maybe Thursday off, too.

It seems to stay on track, I will have to spend more time at home in order to keep up with the household chores and keep on schedule. There is so much stuff in the apartment that it gets messy easily and requires almost constant attention. That is stressing on its own, but again

 I will try to keep up with it better.

Anyway, I need to get back home to finish the chores and laundry, and get ready for bed. I am so exhausted, but I hope I sleep better tonight because of it. Until next time...

P.S. Tonight, I walked to McDonalds, not ran, and I stayed outside instead of going inside and ordering food. I will try to do this more often, so long as the wifi signal is good out here.

I worked today. I removed nails, dug underneath a pipe, and put up tar paper. I ended up working until 6:20. I went home, called Sam, and got ready to spend the night at his place. Dawn got me a $50 gift card for my upcoming birthday. Old Navy is having a Memorial Day sale, so they recommended I use it this weekend.

We ate Quiznos and now we are at his place hanging out and working on Magic decks. I will talk to Dyanis later.

It rained last night and earlier today. Dyanis packed up her stuff because this is her last day here. Her bus departs at 6:30pm and we leave for the bus station at 4:20pm via the street car. After she leaves, I will take the street car straight to Maik's to play MTG and come back home later also via the street car.

Today was great. In fact, this whole trip was great. I have been doing so much better with Dyanis around. I hope I can continue to stay on track after she leaves. I should though because I will keep in touch with her everyday and Amadeo will be around to help me keep a bearing on things. In fact, I have my routine to help me keep my stability.

I can't wait to see Dyanis again in a few months. I love her so much. I will miss her and she will miss me, but we will see each other again in a few months <3 data-blogger-escaped-br="">

I rode my bike to Crescent City Comics on Freret St. It's near Maik's house, so I took the same route to get there. I looked at the selection for a while and calculated the best value per card, as to what kind of pack I should get because I am on a budget. As if turns out, buying an intro deck was the best value since it is 60 cards + 2 booster packs (15 cards each). That comes out to 90 cards for only $14.16. Three booster packs would have come with only 45 cards for about the same price, so I got double that with the intro deck and 2 boosters. The cost was about $0.16 per card in the intro deck versus $0.29 per card buying 3 boosters alone.

I felt like I made a good choice and I am happy with my purchase. I like intro decks because they are organized and I do better when things are organized.
It was the Gruul Goliaths deck (Red-Green). That's all they had for Gatecrash when I went there, but it worked out because the Gruul guild is my favorite. I randomized and shuffled the deck and sorted the cards from the booster packs into my collection.

It isn't so bad, since I can still get my own cards without spending a whole lot of money. I guess I get the bargain shopping skill from my mom, and it's good to save money and get a good deal at the same time. I still have about $20 for laundry and for the taxi ride when I meet Dyanis tomorrow at the bus station to pick her up. I made sure of it. I wouldn't have spent money on cards if I didn't have enough money for what I needed but thankfully I did. It's a nice reward and a way to keep up with the rest of the gang I play MTG with.

So anyway, today was a good day. I got exercise, and got to talk to Amadeo and Felicia this morning. I haven't heard from her in a while. The weather was hot and sunny earlier, but is now cloudy and cold, at 64 degrees Fahrenheit. I am going to cook supper later and I have the meat thawing as I type this. Until next time...
