Today was mostly uneventful as I slept all day. Later though, I went to Taco Bell, then Citi Trends with Bradford and Colby today. That was a great little adventure and time with my friends over here at Exodus House. I found a webcam on sale for $5! :O It was a great deal. I will chat with Dianis tonight at 9pm and use the webcam. We had spaghetti, corn, bread roll, and salad for supper tonight.We all hung out and watched The Originals on TV. Interesting series. It was very cold and windy tonight as we went to take our meds.

Last day on the job at 1025 Jena Street. We moved all the stuff and tools out of the house. Billy primed and painted the floors after that. I emailed my hours to Amadeo. He will finish up the smaller details on Monday.

Today, I worked from 9:00am-2:00pm. Then Amadeo got me lunch at Taco Bell, took me home, and went to a meeting. We worked on fixtures today, such as the sink and the base for the toilet, as well as finishing the pipeline underneath the bathtub underneath the house. Amadeo fixed a leak in the tub drain.

I got home early, so I washed clothes today. Later, I will fold clothes, eat supper, chat with Dyanis, shower, then go to bed because I work early tomorrow morning.

Amadeo and I started and finished the grout today. We are both proud. It was not as hard as we thought. I worked from 10:00am to 6:00pm, with an hour for lunch and to pick up my meds. Amadeo got me McGriddles for breakfast, Taco Bell for lunch, and at home I had red beans and rice for dinner. Yum!

I worked from 10:30 to 5:30 today, with an hour lunch. I finally showered and brushed my teeth after a week. I didn't really feel like working, but Amadeo really needed me.

We worked on a column in front of a house on Royal Street. Amadeo also fixed a sink faucet in a property in the French Quarter. It took a while to finish that column, but we finally did it. He felt frustrated, overwhelmed, and helpless during the process, but felt relieved after he finished.

Amadeo got me this toy parakeet on Tuesday (two days before this post). Coincidentally, mom sent me a video from YouTube to Facebook about this very thing. :)

Today, I worked from 10:30am to 3:30pm, with a lunch break from 12:45 to 2:30.  We mainly scraped the grout. We didn't get to do much else today, because Billy was spackling in the bathroom and Leslie was painting in the kitchen. Both tasks needed to be done, and Amadeo and I both felt it was best not to interrupt their work.

Amadeo picked up Dawn, and we went driving around town. He got us sandwiches from Domino's for lunch. When we got back, we packed up Amadeo's tools in his truck for the coming tropical storm, and he took me home.

For supper, I had ground beef and macaroni, with bread and an oatmeal raisin cookie. I got seconds because it was so good. I chatted with Dyanis, and I am about to go to bed. In other news, I got a new roommate today. He seems alright. I might work with Amadeo tomorrow and I might not. I will have to wait and see. Until next time...

Last night, I got a visitor's pass so I could go to Maik's to play Magic. Sam brought Chinese food and it was good. We all opened 8 booster packs from the new Theros expansion and played a sealed deck tournament. I lost against Maik, but won against Sam. I used a mono green deck.

Today, I worked from 10:30 to 5:30, with a 2 hour break, for a total of 5 hours. Amadeo and I finished the tile in the bathroom and kitchen. Amadeo was proud, because we finally finished, and because it was the one task he was afraid of not doing right due to his inexperience with it.

Amadeo took us to McDonald's for lunch, and then took me to LSU Behavioral Health to get my psychological assessment results. As it turns out, I have Asperger's syndrome, depression, and have the official diagnosis to prove it now. I am so happy because this will help me alot in the future with therapy and getting disability income. I am just glad I have the diagnosis because I understand myself better now and how to better cope with my problems and struggles.

While I was at LSU, Amadeo went to Home Depot, and came to pick me up after. We returned to the house, and we finished laying the tile. Hooray!

I chatted with Dyanis tonight and stayed focused on it, so it went well. She was happy for the second day on a row. I am about to go to bed.

On Saturday, I went with Maik, Michelle, and Sam to the Global Wildlife Center. We rode a wagon and feed deer, llamas, antelopes, alpacas, and rhea birds. It was fun.

On Sunday, I hung out with Sam. We did the usual: Subway, Magic, Tennis, Quiznos, then home. Lou stopped by for a while. It was good to see him again as I hadn't seen him in a couple months.

On Monday, I went to therapy, and it went great. The rest of the day, I rode the street car, went to City Park, talked to mom on the phone for an hour and a half, hung out with Amadeo at his apartment, went to Dollar General, and then rode the bus home.

Today, I worked from 11:00 to 5:30, with an hour for lunch at Taco Bell. It was good. We cut and laid tile in the bathroom. That took all day. We also scraped out the mortar from the grout. I got more minutes on my phone today, too.

I got home and ate macaroni, croissant, steamed vegetables, and hot dogs. I gave my chicken away because I didn't want it. I am chatting with Dyanis right now. I will shower and go to bed after. I meet with Lavondra tomorrow and then work after.

I operated the saw to cut some pieces of tile.

Amadeo laid out the tile pieces first, before putting them in permanently.

This is how far we got today. Amadeo put the mortar down and a few tiles. They should be dry by tomorrow.

I worked from 10:00am to 4:30pm today, with a lunch break from 12:45 to 2:30, a total of 4.75 hours. We finished the sheet rock in the bathroom today. It was a bitch.

Today is the birthday of my father, David F. Guerra, and my social worker, Lavondra Green. Also, Lil' Wayne, lol! So anyway, tomorrow, I will go with Maik, Michelle, and Sam on the Global Wildlife Reserve trip. Tonight, I will chat with Dyanis, shower, and go to bed.

Yesterday, I worked from 11:00am-5:30pm with an hour lunch, so I worked a total of 5.5 hours. Amadeo and Dawn had already laid the tile in the kitchen on Sunday. Amadeo replaced the vent pipe in the bathroom, hooked up the light switch in the bathroom, and began on the sheet rock.

Today, I met with Lavondra at 10:45am to give her the letter from mom. She said she would get the Salvation Army letter, the Exodus House letter, and that needs the letter from Amadeo by Friday or Monday. I didn't work today because I was very tired and slept all day. I got a call from Amadeo, but I was too depressed to return his call :( Later, though, I managed to get up and do my laundry. I need to take a shower tonight, since I haven't taken a shower in a few days.

Michelle invited me to a wildlife tour on Saturday. I think I will go.

Yesterday, Sam picked me up at 11:00am and we went to Subway. I cleaned his apartment, made $30, and then we played tennis for 2 hours. After that, we worked on Magic decks and Dyanis called me. We went to Quizno's before he took me home at 6:00.

Today, I went to therapy. It went great, and we talked more about family issues. It's amazing how things that happened when you were little still affect you to the present day. It's like mom said "ripples in a pond".

Since the day was young and I had a day pass, I spent the day riding all the street cars in New Orleans. It was quite fun. I rode the Canal, Riverfront, and St. Charles street cars.

Earlier, I did research on street cars and found out the difference between them and the San Francisco "trolleys" or cable cars. The difference is street cars have their own electric motors and run off of overhead power lines for power. Cable cars run off of an underground system of cables run from a factory type building. The speed is fixed at 9mph and they require a man to operate this pliers-like grip that attaches and detaches from the underground cable to go and stop respectively. So although they are both cars made for public transportation, their inner mechanics are totally different. Very interesting! We are lucky here in New Orleans, because I think street cars are so much cooler!

Anyway, I went shopping at Dollar General, then took the bus home. When I got there, I laid down for a while and we had spaghetti for supper. Of course, I had two servings because I love it so much! =P Now, I am chatting with Dyanis. Later, I will take a shower and go to bed. I have work tomorrow. Until next time...

I missed work yesterday because I tired and Amadeo was bus with other stuff. However, I made it into work today from 1:30-5:00pm no break for a total of 3.5 hours.

At work today, we put the counter on one of the cabinets, put glue and more clamps on the sink, mixed mortar, and put down mortar and the orange stuff on top. It was a bit rough at first, because we didn't know what we we doing. Amadeo got pissed off really bad and we found out there was not enough water in the mixture. After that, it went fine though. We didn't finish the entire kitchen floor, but we will tomorrow.

For dinner, I had beans, rice, and sausage. I had seconds because it was good. :P Amadeo didn't take any pictures of me today, so there's none for today's blog entry.

In other news, it is Maik's birthday today. I will send him a text. I am chatting with Dyanis right now. After that, I will shower and go to bed, since I work early tomorrow.

Today, I worked from 10:30am to 4:30pm, with an hour lunch break at Amadeo's apartment, for a total work day of 5 hours.

We put up a wall next to the bathtub, so we could fasten it to it.

We saw a 1957 Volkswagen truck across the street from the house and thought it was cool, so we decided to take a picture of it.

We also began to install the sink. It still needs to be sealed and fastened, though. Amadeo did most of the work. I just assisted him and put the countertop on top of the cabinets.

Tonight for supper, I had turkey necks, rice, and peas. It was ok. It is Lou's birthday today. I texted him and we talked on the phone for a bit. He really cares about me and worries for me. I let him know I am doing ok over here. He was glad I texted him Happy Birthday! :) Now I will chat with Dyanis, then later shower and go to bed. I get picked up at 9:00am for work tomorrow.

This is my first blog entry in a long time. I have been homeless and going from place to place with no camera. Whenever I can get an iPod again, I will post more often. Until then, I will post when something noteorthy happens in my life and I have access to a camera/pics. I took a break, but decided that it is good for me to post on this blog, because it gives me a place to vent and also a place to document my life online with stories and pictures.

Today, I worked with my brother Amadeo at the Jena street house. We demolished a wall:

               Dawn brought us cold drinks, chips, and sandwiches for lunch. It was filling and good.

                                          

                  Later, we put down tar paper and got the bathtub into the bathroom. It sounds simple, but it was time consuming. We had to demolish, sweep, demolish, and sweep some more, but we finally got it done.

At about 4:30,  Amadeo stopped by Radio Shack, then took me home. I ate chicken, rice, and green beans for supper. I found out someone stole some of my snacks. It was probably my roommate, but I don't know for sure. I really need to learn how to say no to strangers who ask me for stuff also. I feel like a jerk if I did, but I don't owe these people anything, and it does not benefit me to give them money or food for nothing in return. I guess they just see me and assume I have money, but truth be told, I am homeless with little money, and I am no better position than they are.

Yesterday, I played Magic at Maik's. It was ok. I won one game and lost the rest. I go there more to see my friends than to play a game. We had Lebanese food for dinner and they invited me to a birthday celebration on Saturday for Andrew and Sam. I think I will go.

Today, Amadeo was upset with me because I haven't been calling him in the morning, but I called him today. I just have been feeling so depressed. I showered, shaved, and clean my teeth. Later, after drying off, I put in earplugs, got dressed, then headed outside. I took the street car to my therapy session with Courtney Olds, because my bike tire went flat AGAIN. This was my last session with her, since I cannot afford to pay for

any more sessions. It went very well, and she said she will give Anya things to work on with me. Courtney is so nice! :) I see Anya on Monday at 12:00 at last! Therapy has been great with Courtney, but it will be nice to have Anya back again. She is so understanding and helpful, and in her own words, "directive". haha. I will feel safe and sound with Anya there for me again. I can't wait until Monday.

Anyway, I used my day pass once more to bus it over to CC's to post this blog. Sam invited me to Kyle's to play Magic, but I declined. I am burnt out on MTG, plus my bike tire is flat. Later on, I will bus it back home and go to bed. If it rains, I am prepared with my umbrella, the cover from the bus stop, and the bus itself. I will do my best to stay dry! :P

I am on a lower dose of Abilify now (2.5 mg), so I don't feel jittery, but I feel slower and more depressed. I think I am at a happy medium now, however. I can manage with this, at least for now.

I didn't get to post yesterday because my bike tire was flat, but I got it fixed. Yesterday, Caitlin took me to my psychiatrist appointment and he lowered my dose of Abilify from 7.5mg to 5mg. We will see how that works and I come back in 8 weeks to see him again. 

Today, Caitlin brought me to my interview with Tivoli place apartments. I didn't have a valid ID, so I was rescheduled to come back on August 7th. Bummer. We went to the DMV and it turns out I have no insurance on my car, and a $250 fee for not paying it, AND I can't get my license now. DOUBLE bummer. Next week, we will try to get a state ID since I can't get my license. 

When I got home, I warmed up some spaghetti and ate. I also took my bird cages out to wash them. After that, I came to CC's to post my blog. Amadeo called me to see how I was doing and now here we are.

I feel like shit and don't feel like doing anything, but at the same time, I can't stand doing nothing. I hate feeling like this. I am going to chat with Dyanis later and then when I leave here, I will go home, bring my birds in, and get ready for bed.

This morning, I woke up and Randy cooked bacon and eggs for breakfast. Right now, the kids are playing and Mom and Tia are watching TV. I leave for the bus station at 4:00pm today. I am sad I didn't get to stay longer, say another night, but this is the best time to take the bus. Any later, and I would be late for my appointment tomorrow. It was a nice visit and I hope to come here again sometime. I might go walking or riding the bike around the neighborhood later.

This is day 2 off of Abilify. I helped Amadeo clear and clean his truck this morning, then he paid me $20. We took all the stuff out of his truck, put it in the apartment, and then vacuumed and washed the Envoy. We ran a few errands before going to Golden Corral for lunch at about 2:30 or 3:00. Sadik, Farita, Tia, and David's kids were there and they paid for our meal. It was delicious. Afterwards, we hit the road and headed to Lafayette. I am here with Mom, Randy, and everybody and I am finally home! :) I hope the trip goes well and nothing bad happens with family drama.

This morning, I went to Dollar General for some things, then I came home and showered. I listened to some music on my laptop, then at 3:30, Caitlin came. We went over my Tivoli place application, as well and some stuff with LRS and trying to choose the best vendor for my services. Unfortunately, she has only two weeks left before she quits, and I will get a new case manager in her place named Patrice. This morning, I went to get quarters at Whitney bank. Later, I went to Wal-Mart to exchange my half dollar rolls for bills. Wal-Mart didn't take it, and the bank inside almost didn't either until a Sheriff convinced the teller to exchange my half dollars. That was a pleasant surprise! :) I got some bird seed with a gift card and almost bought an umbrella, but it was too big and too expensive. 

When I got home, I unpacked, ate some lunch, and scooped the cats litter box. I then headed to Rouse's to get some Hamburger Helper and some meat. When I got back, I unpacked and started washing clothes. I called Sasha asking about cleaning work, but she said she would have to get back to me on that. I cooked beef stroganoff for supper and washed the dishes. Amadeo came home later with some pizza. He was proud of me for being up and for the way the house looked so clean. :) I finished folding the clothes, then headed out here to CC's to post my blog and maybe chat with Dyanis or Josh Cerna. 

I will be honest, it is very hard to stay up during the day because I always feel tired, but today I managed to do it.

I didn't get to post a blog yesterday because I was out all day with Sam and didn't get a chance to access the internet. We spent 5 hours at Washington Square and part of the French Quarter juggling and hanging out with his friend George. Sam really enjoyed that and it was first weekend off in a long time. He was glad to do "nothing"  on a Saturday for once. Later, we got Subway, went to his apartment, played Magic, and then we went to bed.

Today, I slept in, we ate, and we hung out before he took me home. When I got home, I did the daily chores such as the dishes and scooped the cat litter box, then I took my bird cages outside to clean them. Later, it started to thunder, so I took them in. I laid down a couple times and Amadeo got mad at me, as usual. I am so bored and depressed all the time. There's nothing to do and no reason for me to be up as far as I see it, yet I am forced to be up by Amadeo. I don't understand why he can't just leave me alone and leave me be.

Anyway, I rode here to post this blog. Not much going on, and later I will go home and go to bed. I won't be showering tonight because all the towels and clothes are dirty and we have no quarters to put in the washing machine.

Yesterday, I hung out with Sam and Maik and we played MTG.

Today, Amadeo stayed home and I had some issues with getting up and staying up because I am bored and depressed with nothing to do. Amadeo pushed and pushed me to stay up and I did. The power went off at around 1pm-2pm and he left. Later, the power came back on and Amadeo came back with Dawn. I had called Terry and Sasha but no answer. I am thinking of asking Mills for my old job back. I don't know, though. I came to CC's to post this blog and chat with Dyanis. Not much else is going on today.

Happy Independence Day or July 4! The weather is very beautiful today. I went to therapy and it went well. When I got home, I did the dishes, took care of the cats, and tidied up the house. Now, I am posting this blog at CC's They are closed for the holiday today, but I am still outside catching the signal. I am the only one here using the internet and it is very fast! Amadeo got pissed at me for sleeping during the day yesterday. I was honestly very tired. I had cleaned the refrigerator and took a shower, which took energy out of me. He probably thinks this is the "first straw" to "junkie behavior", but little does he know this does not affect my schedule. I will still be home for 10:00 and in bed for 11:00. I do not stay out late anymore. In fact, I go to a different cafe to make sure I get home on time. Here we go again with him being mad at me. 

At the same time, I do need something to do during the day, though. Maybe I should go back to work with Mills. If I do, though, I can't post blogs on Wednesdays because I can't carry my cards and my laptop at the same time. There simply is not enough room and it is too much to carry. And if I don't go to Wednesday night Magic, well there goes my social life. I don't know what to do. My life is so fucking hard and complicated, even with the littlest things. I really fucking hate having Asperger's Syndrome. There are days that I would rather having just about anything else disabling me, but alas, I can't change it. I guess I will just have to suffer for the rest of my miserable life. :/

Today from noon to 3:00, I went to a NAMI picnic in City Park. The food was good and I got to meet some new people. Now I am posting this blog at CC's. Later, I will go to Maik's to play Magic. 

I hate how I feel on this medicine. I am restless, anxious, fidgety, and can't calm down for a second. It's like I have Parkinson's Disease. I wish I could just eliminate the side effect or better yet stop taking it altogether and take something else for my depression.

Today at 10:00am, I met with Caitlin to get my birth certificate. I was informed that Tivoli place gives priority to people 62 or over, but I can still apply. When I got home, I cleaned the refrigerator and took the birds outside. I went to Dollar General for some things, and came home. I then showered and shaved, then lied down and cuddled with the kitten for a while. At about 4:45pm, Dawn told me to come outside and meet Amadeo to help get my car towed away to Alex's house. I waited in the Rite-Aid parking lot for about an hour while Amadeo got the car over to the trailer. We loaded it up and Amadeo went on his way. Dawn dropped me off and I ate leftover spaghetti for supper. Then, I packed up and headed here to post my blog. When I get home, as usual I will take my birds in and get ready for bed.

Not much going on today except taking care of the cats and birds. I ate leftover spaghetti, then came here to post my blog and chat with Dyanis because I was bored and stir crazy out of my mind. Amadeo and Dawn are coming back today and should be here by tonight at 11:00pm or 12:00am.

Today I did not do too much except go to the store to get a can opener. I cleaned Sam's apartment and chat with Dyanis. Lou wants to hang out tomorrow, so at least I will get some social interaction.

I didn't do too much today other than laundry and taking care of the kitten. I also took my birds outside and went to Dollar General for some laundry detergent. My jaw joint hurts because of TMJ/the earplug problem. Also, my left elbow hurts from riding my bike for whatever reason. I think it's because of the posture of my arms while on the bike. Today was pretty boring. I will go home later, bring my birds in, shower, and get ready for bed. No picture today because I forgot my webcam.

Sam dropped me off this morning. I stayed the night after playing Magic at his place with Andrew. When I got home, Dawn and Amadeo were leaving. Dawn gave me instructions on how to take care of the kitten and then they left. I got a few more hours of sleep, then I got up and started my day. At 3:00, I had my therapy appointment with Courtney. I actually made it there 20 minutes early, got started early, and go to stay until 4:00. It went very well. On the way home, I saw Ben and we talked for a bit. We exchanged numbers and he tried to convince me to come back to work with Justin. Honestly, I will have to think about it first, but maybe. Maybe I need a longer vacation from it first. 

Anyway, here I am at CC's posting the blog. I will work on keeping on track/schedule and call Amadeo before bed at 10:00pm. I will also work on keeping a daily schedule in general as that is what we worked on in therapy. I seriously do not want to fall off track. After this, I will go home and eventually go to bed.

Today, I got up and took out my birds. Unfortunately, I noticed one of my females has a lump in her bottom and I'm worried that she might be egg bound. This is a serious condition that could kill her and I don't know what to do. I am hoping Amadeo could take me to Bird's Unlimited today to see if Ms. Joann can do anything about it, and maybe even buy the two chicks I have while I'm at it. Later tonight, Sam is going to pick me up and we will play Magic at his apartment with Andrew. He will get food and I will spend the night, so Sam won't have to drive me back so late. I hope everything goes well.
